We have been seeing a lot of stories about what would be the flag bearer for Lenovo this year—the Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone. And now, Lenovo has finally unveiled the same under a different name simply called the Lenovo K920 at the Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai. The handset is a Quad HD monster and comes with the muscle to match its massive 6 inch display.
Inside is a powerful 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon (8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and a beefy 3GB of RAM. Internal memory is limited to 32GB, but sadly the device comes with no expandable memory. The screen is a massive 6 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixel) IPS LCD display, which easily occupies the entire front of the device with little space for the navigation keys at the bottom.
QHD display aside, the Lenovo K920 also comes with some interesting camera tech. The primary camera is a 16MP sensor which comes with a dual LED flash (dual tone) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The front-facing camera is clearly built for the selfie-conscious, sporting a large 5MP sensor.
The handset is packed with latest radios and comes with dual SIM functionality as well. On the Outside, the body is apparently made of a matte finish which is supposed to resist fingerprints. Lenovo has gone with a unibody design (just 7.7mm thick) indicating that the battery may be the 4000mAh one that was prevalent in most of the past rumours.
