Indian e-retail giant Flipkart on Thursday unveiled its first Android tablet under the Digiflip brand in the country. Priced at INR 9,999, the tablet is targeted to the entry-level buyers.
Dubbed as Digiflip Pro XT712, the tablet sports a 7-inch 1280x800p IPS HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor. It also features 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 3G connectivity and dual-SIM support.
According to Flipkart, the Digiflip Pro XT712 runs on Android 4.2.2 and it will be getting Android updates in future but the company has not specified any timelines.

Pricing and Availability : Digiflip Pro XT712 has been priced at INR 9,999 and will go on sale beginning today at Flipkart in Black colour option. The White version will arrive on a later date.
Bundled offers : Flipkart is offering the Digiflip Pro buyers with INR 2000 worth of e-books for free as well savings worth INR 5,000 while shopping from the Flipkart app pre-installed on the device.
In addition, the e-retailers has announced several launch-day offers, which will be available to the consumers who buy the tablet on June 26, like free Bluetooth headset, 50 percent discount on the tablet covers and one-month subscription to Flipkart First service.
After-sales Service : The after sales service for Digiflip Pro tablets will be handled through a network of over 120 service centres in 100+ cities. Additionally, customers in 13 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad can avail of priority 24-hour service by visiting any of the 22 priority centres.
